Year of The Rat
Rats are ambitious, clever and devoted to their family; they are hard-working and imaginative. Rats are not always sure of themselves and do not always plan for the future.
Rats will always stand by their friends.
An encouraging year in 2008 is on the cards for the charming Rats, presenting an opportunity to advance and progress.
For Rats who keep busy their hard work will pay off, however Rats should keep their opportunistic wits about them and focus on one thing at a time.
The social and personal lives (friends and family) of Rats promises to be even more special than ever this year, but remember, solitude will make a Rat irritable.
Easter 23 March
Why Easter Eggs?
For Christians eggs are a forbidden food during Lent, and which make a welcome return to the menu on Easter Day.
Christians believe that, through his resurrection, Jesus defeated death and sin and offers people the promise of eternal life if they follow his teachings.
In any event, eggs were a symbol of new and continuing life in Spring celebrations long before the spread of Chritianity.
Eggs have had a religious significance in many ancient civilizations; Egyptians buried eggs in their tombs as did the Greeks; a Roman proverb states, "All life comes from an egg".
Anyway, no matter what your beliefs, Easter is a great excuse to eat Chocolate, whether egg shaped or anyother shape; and lots of it!
